This series of outstanding hardcover readers are full of writing which will inspire, teach and encourage the reader to live out their Christianity in many ways. 72 pieces broken into five sections; "So many things to learn", "Contentment", "Courage", "In all thy ways" & "Responsibility". In the first story for instance, two young boys mistakenly accuse a friend of stealing. Until that point, the friend was ready to listen to the gospel, ready to come to church with them. They tried to apologise but after that "Wayne knew it was too late, Curly was beyond his reach". A very thought provoking story, and that's just the first one! Some words are in boldface type and these are listed and defined (with pronounciation guides) in the glossary at back. This books is for level 6 readers. This is an American grading roughly equivilent to Grade 6-7 in Australia. Hardcover 11-12 years and up but suitable for younger readers if they are capable or as read-alouds. 327 pages including Glossary.
